Description
Brewed in collaboration with Epochal Barrel Fermented Ales. This is a recreation of a beer that found in bottles retrieved from a shipwrecked vessel Wallachia, which sank after a collision in the Clyde Estuary in 1895. The beer itself was a strong export stout from the McEwan’s brewery in Glasgow, destined for the West Indies. Holy Goat's version utilises ingredients typical for the period, including heritage Chevallier base malt, amber, brown and black roasted malts and No.2 Invert sugar.
